This is no formal dress code for the Champions Retreat. However, participants typically wear smart casual attire.
Yes, all registered attendees should have received an email invitation to download the 2019 Champions Retreat app a few weeks prior to the event. Through the app, you will be able to connect and message with other attendees, share photos and videos, locate the venue maps and directions, and more. Download the app on your Apple device.
Champions Retreat is an opportunity for leaders of the B Corp movement and people using business as a force for good to connect, learn, and get inspired.
This year’s Champions Retreat will gather 600+ business and civic leaders from across the United States and Canada in Los Angeles for three days of thought partnership, peer exchange, and movement building focused on creating an inclusive and regenerative economy.
At the Opening Reception on Monday we’ll provide drinks and appetizers but we suggest you make dinner plans on your own after the event ends at 7pm. During conference days on Tuesday and Wednesday, we’ll be providing breakfast, lunch and snacks. We’ll provide heavy appetizers and drinks on Tuesday evening.
We work hard to ensure that our event is accessible and welcoming for all attendees. A few things you can expect to see at Champions Retreat:

- Closed captioning in our plenaries and mainstage talks
- Mothering room at the Loews
- Wellness lounge for those who require light and sound sensitive spaces

The Loews Hollywood Hotel website is located at 1755 N Highland Ave, Hollywood, California, 90028. There will be wifi and ample space in the Loews Lobby on the 3rd floor for meetings and calls.
We know that things come up, schedules change and life happens. You can receive a full refund through August 16th. After that date, we will not extend any refunds for any circumstances.

While there is no limit to the number that may attend, we do encourage attendance by individuals who occupy roles that can catalyze change within their organization. These often include functions in marketing, HR/Operations, sustainability, impact, strategy, and executive leadership.
B Lab generally does not provide scholarships for Champions Retreat. Instead, we utilized a “sliding-scale” ticketing system, which allows individuals to register at the price-level which most closely reflects their experience. We also have a limited number of volunteer slots for the event, the compensation for which is a free ticket.
While there is no limit to the number that may attend, we do encourage attendance by individuals who occupy roles that can catalyze change within their organization. These often include functions in marketing, HR/Operations, sustainability, impact, strategy, and executive leadership.
Sessions will not be livecast and most sessions will not be recorded. We will send an event recap to the B Corp community and attendees following the close of the event.
