Fondée en 1909 en Normandie et ancrée dans un terroir d’exception, la Coopérative Isigny Sainte-Mère est réputée mondialement pour ses produits laitiers élaborés dans le respect de la tradition et avec la plus grande exigence. C’est grâce à la richesse du lait de ses producteurs, reconnu comme une matière première d’exception, qu’Isigny Sainte-Mère élabore des beurres, crèmes et fromages dont les saveurs uniques lui valent une renommée internationale. Par ailleurs elle fabrique également de la poudre de lait infantile dont elle a acquis l’expertise au fil des décennies. Ce lait infantile est fabriqué pour des clients présents dans le monde entier. La qualité de ses produits provient d’un savoir-faire traditionnel unique et ancestral. Isigny Sainte-Mère bénéficie d’un terroir unique et protégé, ce que la Normandie a de meilleur à offrir : une herbe tendre, dont la pousse est influencée par les embruns salés dus à la proximité de la mer et à l’eau douce des marais du Bessin et du Cotentin ; un sol riche et un climat humide qui font du lait d’Isigny la fierté de toute une région. Collecté dans une zone de 50 km autour de la Coopérative, le lait est acheminé chez Isigny Sainte-Mère dès la traite terminée afin qu’il conserve ses propriétés.
