MODUS is a Vancouver based consulting firm specializing in Urban Planning, Design & Engagement. Our vision is to co-create deep-green, just, healthy communities, and our mission is to convene rigorous, experiential processes and deliver transformative projects that address complex, collective challenges. Our Planning practice aims to maximize value to clients, communities, and the world as a whole. Our work includes regional, community-wide, neighbourhood, and downtown sustainability & land use plans, as well as project and site-specific guidance. Our Urban Design practice enables clients to deploy the skills and resources needed for implementation. We weave together the many strands of place making to create beautiful, distinct and inclusive communities. We lead integrated teams in master planning and design processes at the site, neighbourhood and community scale. We expertly harmonize in-person and digital tools, and training to your objectives, audiences, and resources. External engagement is balanced by internal processes to ensure responsiveness and coordinated action.
