Reel Change If it feels like we’re making an awfully big deal out of seemingly small things like toilet paper and paper towels, well, we are. But here’s the thing: nearly everyone uses toilet paper and paper towels every single day. By making a small change to the products we buy and use on a daily basis, we can collectively make a very meaningful impact on big issues like deforestation, plastic pollution and climate change. Switching to tree-free, plastic-free toilet paper and paper towels might initially seem like a drop in the ocean—one that only produces a few ripples. But as more consumers demonstrate an interest in more sustainable products, more businesses will invest in developing solutions to meet that demand. And as more people vote with their wallets, more politicians will take note and draft more legislation pushing sustainability initiatives. Before long, those ripples turn into waves. And that’s how Reel Change becomes possible.
