DeepSpeed represents a groundbreaking innovation in propulsion developed by the Italian company Sealence. It features an aircraft-inspired electric jet propulsion system known for its exceptional efficiency, surpassing other existing systems by a significant margin. Sealence's patent, spanning 51 countries globally, has been granted in 38 of them, with the remaining 13 awaiting final approval. The outboard jet is completed by a modular and highly sophisticated powertrain enhancing the overall performance. This powertrain includes an advanced battery pack, optionally equipped with a fireproof system, and a robust yet compact range extender, for long distance navigation. Sealence, recognized as a GOLD-rated Benefit company on the ESG portal, prioritizes sustainability and aims to minimize polluting emissions. The electrified powertrain is designed to meet the challenges of TIER 5 standards, aligning with the current limits set by the MARPOL Annex VI legislation. The range of jets currently achieves power up to 313 marine horsepower, with ongoing development for a version boasting 815 horsepower.
