Announcing a temporary pause in certification for companies operating outside of Global Partner regions
From 6 October 2023, B Lab Global is temporarily pausing support for new B Corps to certify in regions without Global or Country Partner representation.
We recognise that in order to transform the economy, we must transform business practices globally, recognising all companies that contribute to make business a force for good. However, in order to deliver on this vision, B Lab must take the necessary steps to reinvent our own operations and evaluate how best to serve the growing B Corp community.
At this time, B Lab Global is not resourced to create a team dedicated to supporting companies before or after certification in the countries listed below.
We will continue to monitor the impact of this decision over the coming months and in the meantime, encourage companies in affected countries to continue using our free tools, including the B Impact Assessment, to improve impact performance and advance their journey towards a more sustainable future:
